Festive Events At Ventnor Botanic Garden
It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas here at Ventnor Botanic Garden as we head closer and closer to the big day! With Christmas just around the corner, we’re holding and hosting a range of festive events over the next few weeks.
With a range of family-friendly, crafty, shopping and charitable events to kick-start your Festive Spirit this November and December. Check out the list of events coming up (below.)
Festive Wreath Making – 4th December
Join us this festive season for a day of wreath making at Ventnor Botanic Garden – We’ll supply the fresh greenery, ribbons, baubles and decorations needed to make your very own wreath to take home afterwards. Our team will look after you and walk you through the process of making your own Christmas Wreath, just in time for the season ahead.
Learn something new, make your own Christmas wreath and spend some time with your family or friends on Sunday the 4th of December. For £35pp, you’ll be equipped with all you need to create your beautiful decorations, you’ll be guided along the way and helped to create a beautiful wreath to take home with you when you’re done. The price also includes a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie to get you into the Christmas spirit!

Festive Spirit Event – 4th December
On the 4th of December, 2022 – Ventnor Botanic Garden will be holding its Festive Spirit event. With fantastic discounts on memberships, along with serving delicious festive treats in our Plantation Room Cafe.
Join us for the day, between 09:00 and 16:00 and get yourself into the Christmas Spirit ahead of the big day. Our Puya Boutique will be open with a beautiful range of Christmas gifts and decorations. Our Puya Boutique prides itself on offering beautiful, eco-friendly products and unique gifts either for yourself or a loved one.
Jingle all the Way with Mountbatten – 18th December
We are excited to bring our new, illuminated fundraising event to the beautiful Ventnor Botanic Garden on Sunday, 18 December!
Jingle all the Way is an uplifting and entertaining evening for the whole family, featuring two different festive trails.
Our Jingle Jog offers an entertaining festive 1K circular route for runners, while the Sleighbell Stroll provides an accessible live entertainment walk on an alternative route.
Whether you want to be showered in snow as you run laps of our Christmas circuit or you fancy being serenaded as you stroll through our spectacular winter wonderland, this is the event for you.

Registration opens at 3 pm, the warm-up starts at 3.40 pm and the run starts at 4 pm.
Sleighbell Stroll
Entry from 5 pm. The event ends at 7 pm.
