DESCRIPTION & LOCATION

Tucked away in our Upper Nursery with views across the Garden to the English Channel, are a pair of charming cabins in a corner of Ventnor Botanic Garden that not many visitors get to explore. This beautiful self-catering accommodation offers a fantastic holiday location with a difference.

The Space

Inside The Cabin, you will find a bijou wood-panelled hide-away – A perfect retreat. A small wood stove ensures a warm and cosy reception in the open-plan space. With its own Mediterranean garden and terrace with outside seating and BBQ at your disposal. A full kitchen is provided with an induction hob, fan oven, toaster, under-counter fridge/freezer, and, of course, a kettle.

There is a shared washroom, an eco compost toilet, and digitally controlled shower facilities attached alongside The Cabin. The shower even has a skylight to bring the outside in.

The Garden 

You can  order meals from our chefs, enjoy a barista coffee or breakfast in The Plantation Room Café, and dine at edulis, our restaurant which features Ventnor Botanic Garden-grown produce.

All stays at Ventnor Botanic Garden include complimentary (Yes, free!) access to the Garden and its Shop, Café, Restaurant, Studio, and Garden Gallery. Staying at Ventnor Botanic Garden gives you a great base to explore the Coastal Path, Steephill Cove, and The Undercliff.

Guest access

Guests can enjoy complimentary access to the whole of the Garden – even when the Garden is closed to the public. The Cabin is also easy walking distance to the picturesque Steephill Cove.

The neighbourhood

Ventnor Botanic Garden sits right on the Coastal Path which runs along the cliff top to Ventnor to the East and St Catherine’s Lighthouse to the West – a particularly beautiful area.

Ventnor is a charming Victorian town with many boutique shops, superb eateries, and a family friendly beach.
